To prepare for your audition please:

​

-be ready for a cold read from the script

-optional; bring a prepared reading of 1 minute or less of a monologue adjacent to the role of interest

-optional; bring a prepared musical number, no more than 2 minutes if you'd like to be considered for singing in the show

All ages are welcome and encouraged to audition. Roles:

​

Kris Kringle (Male, Santa-like): An older gentleman who believes he is Santa Claus and is hired to play the role at Macy's

Doris Walker (Female, 30s-40s): A Macy's public relations expert and Susan's mother, initially skeptical of Kris's claims

Susan Walker (Female, 6-12): Doris's young daughter, who is taught not to believe in Santa Claus

Fred Gailey (Male, 30s-40s): A lawyer who becomes involved with the case and eventually falls in love with Doris

Mr. Macy (Male, 50s-60s): The owner of Macy's department store

Mr. Shellhammer (Male 30s-50s): A Macy's public relations executive

Supporting Characters: These include various Macy's employees (like Sawyer and Alfred), a judge, a prosecuting attorney, and other individuals involved in the court case
