
Theatrical Exposure for Students-Combined Efforts of Several Professionals Make it a Reality
Lower Shore Performing Arts Company facilitated the debut of a Theater Academy in Somerset County for Eastern Shore students ages five to thirteen. Theater Academy provides an enriching yet fun experience regarding theatrical arts. During the two-week session, students learn all aspects of stage performance including character development, stage movement, choreography, vocal instruction, costume/set design, play structure, and improvisation. LSPAC's 1st Annual Theater Academy!
Thirty bright, excited young children eagerly and nervously stepped onto the stage in front of an audience, many for the first time ever on Friday. It all started with the LSPAC's first (of many awesome) theater academy on July 11th. For two weeks these kids had a fairly active and intense camp.
